Artificial Intelligence (AI) Terms and Conditions
1. Absolute Prohibition on AI Use
Voice recordings provided by Joanne Andrews Presentations trading as a sole trader, must not be used for any artificial intelligence–related purpose, including but not limited to:
· Artificial intelligence systems
· Machine learning or deep learning
· Voice synthesis or text-to-speech
· Voice cloning or replication
· Generative or automated audio technologies
This prohibition applies worldwide, across all territories, and includes current and future technologies, whether developed internally or by third parties.
2. No Training, Modelling, or Simulation
The recordings may not be used to:
· Train, test, fine-tune, or validate AI models
· Create synthetic, simulated, or derivative voices
· Generate new performances or speech beyond the original recording
This applies even where the resulting output is not recognisably identical to the original voice.
3. No Input or Prompt Use
The recordings may not be:
· Uploaded to
· Processed by
· Analysed within
any AI-powered tool, platform, software, or service, whether automated or semi-automated.
4. Licence Limited to Agreed Usage Only
Clients are granted a non-exclusive licence to use the recordings only for the specific project, media, usage, territory, and duration expressly agreed in writing.
Artificial intelligence usage is expressly excluded from all licences.
5. Ownership and Performer Rights
All recordings and performances remain the intellectual property and performer’s rights of Joanne Andrews, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
No rights are granted to replicate, imitate, synthesise, or digitally extend the performance using AI or similar technologies.
6. Responsibility for Third Parties
Clients are fully responsible for ensuring that:
· Affiliates
· Contractors
· Platforms
· Distributors
· Technology providers
do not use the recordings in any way that breaches these AI terms.
7. Breach and Remedies
Unauthorised AI use constitutes a material breach of these Terms and Conditions and may result in:
· Immediate termination of the licence
· Retrospective licensing and usage fees
· Injunctive relief and legal action
· Claims for damages under applicable UK and international law
8. Governing Law
These AI Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, regardless of the client’s location.
