About Joanne Andrews

Joanne has been a professional full-time voiceover artist for over a decade.

Her career began with a Diploma in Drama, leading to theatre and television roles. She performed in television and radio, hosted commercial programmes and produced and broadcast Traffic & Travel across Scotland for the BBC.

While working as a continuity announcer for BBC Scotland, people kept asking: “Can you do me a voiceover?

The answer was ‘Yes’ — and the rest is history!

Today, Joanne is the voice behind campaigns and products across the UK and beyond.

Joanne’s voice is: Warm, Conversational, Authoritative, Upbeat, Calm & Relatable.

Her natural accent is neutral Scottish, often described as clear, crisp and easy to listen to. As a trained actress, she can adapt to different regional Scottish tones, RP, Cockney, Southern Irish, Manchester and American styles.
